During his tenure, “George” and his handler intercepted significant quantities of narcotics, earning multiple awards. “George” was forced into early retirement due to severe hip dysplasia. He lived a long and great retired life;
he remained valiant until his last breath.
“George” was more than just a working canine; he was a symbol of determination and resolve, a fearless protector and a loyal best friend.
- K9 “George” was my first working K9. In our time together (4 years) as a k9 team, we were able to intercept 258 lbs of cocaine, 88lbs of meth, 3 lbs of heroin, 2,322 lbs of marijuana, 28 pcp tabs, 10 ecstasy pills and had 8 finds of concealed humans at the south Texas border.
